Project Completion! - Canada Water Plot K
Earlier this year, we celebrated a significant milestone with the completion of Plot K1 at Canada Water, in collaboration with McAleer & Rushe for British Land and AustralianSuper. As the first phase of a transformative masterplan, Plot K1 – now known as 7 Roberts Close – stands as a six-storey residential building, marking the inception of the Canada Water Masterplan’s vision.
Distinguished by its intricate façade detailing, the project boasts precast brick panels and hand-laid brickwork, complemented by an external walkway surrounding a communal landscaped courtyard. Housing a total of 79 affordable apartments which have been handed over to Southwark Council, including 60 council units (with 8 wheelchair accessible apartments) and 19 intermediate tenure units, this development sets a benchmark for high-quality residential accommodation catering to present and future generations.
The success of this challenging project was made possible through the concerted efforts of White Ink, the wider design team, and the excellent workmanship of McAleer & Rushe. We extend our gratitude to all involved!
We are now engaged in the next phase of this exciting journey, overseeing Plots L1 & L2 for British Land as Lead Consultant and Principal Designer BSA – a role that underscores our commitment to shaping the future of our profession and the wider industry.
