This apartment scheme is the second phase of original design proposals for the site by White Ink and provides 14 apartments in a 3-storey brick building on Windsor Park within the Malone Conservation Area, Belfast.

Using our knowledge of Phase 1 White Ink worked closely with the client and the design team to review Phase 2 design to improve efficiency whilst retaining all aspects of the original planning approved design – ensuring the project was financially feasible and deliverable and met the necessary statutory, regulatory and sustainability requirements.

Situated on a residential tree-lined street, the modern design respects the traditional building line and is in sympathy with the grain of the built form of Windsor Park.

The brick facade incorporates finely detailed brick textures – a modern reference to the exuberant brick detail of its Victorian neighbours.

Phase 2 replicates the award winning first phase which was completed in 2013 providing 28 apartments for university staff in two independent blocks. Read more on Phase 1.
