The Denizen is a high quality 10 – 7 storey mixed tenure residential scheme, being developed by Taylor Wimpey Central London, which will provide a collection of 99 studio apartments, offering elegant living spaces with private terraces, communal landscaped courtyard and sunken gardens, and ancillary car parking.

As Delivery Architects, White Ink Architects revisited the internal layouts of this apartment scheme, and as a result delivered additional capital value to the client – whilst ensuring the original design intent by Allford Hall Monaghan Morris is being retained in the process of construction.

Using BIM, White Ink Architects has created a step by step guide for the contractor for construction of the very complicated balcony detailing – to identify sequence for installing damp proof courses, thermal breaks, stone surrounds, balcony fixings etc.

The scheme is located in central London within close proximity to the iconic Grade II listed Golden Lane and the Barbican Estates.
